The Whore illusion Of Amber Rose

In October 2015, Amber Rose started this event called “slutwalk”, It’s basically about the Feminist Movement. It’s been around for some years now but Amber Rose made the event more public. Basically, they want the same rights sexually as men, and not to be “slut shamed” as they called it. This event was started originally for a young woman who was bullied by her classmates, after she went to a party at her friend house and went inside her friend closet after playing “7 minutes of heaven” with someone she considers her best friend. The young man allegedly pulled down his pants, and made it seem like she had performed oral sex on him, and opened the closet door so everyone could see them. Amber Rose said that after she read that article, and dealing with her personal attacks from the media and from the men in her past was her reason behind to promoting this event. At first I used to back this event, and I understood her reason behind this movement. But Amber Rose has put this illusion in women’s head that its ok to be a hoe, which made it hard for me to support this event. I’m not saying that its ok to be attacked for your sexual past because we all have made mistakes. But when you make mistakes you’re supposed to learn from them, not get upset when someone is trying to look out for you and help you. And trying to show that your body is temple, and should be treated like a national treasure.

Amber rose came into fame, after she began dating rapper Kanye West. They met on the set of rapper Ludacris video “What Them Girls Like”. The pair went on to date from 2008 to 2010, they broke up after Amber Rose came out, and said that Kanye West cheated on her with now-wife Kim Kardashian while still in a relationship. But she moved on in 2011 to rapper Wiz Khalifa. A year after dating, the pair got engaged in March 2012. And got married in July 2013 after the birth of their son Sebastian. The pair divorced in Sept 2014, she stated that after her divorce; she felt like a part of her had died. She went on to date other men (Machine Gun Kelly, James Harden, Reggie Bush, Chris Brown, and Drake) just to name a few. Furthermore, because of her long list of men she has been linked to in the past she acquired the reputation as a whore. As we all know that when you’re looking for love, you must date around before you choose a mate you want to spend the rest of your life with. But Amber Rose has been attacked by her ex-husband Wiz Khalifa, and Kanye West. But Kanye went on to stop attacking her after she called his sexuality into questioning. But she still attacks by many other people for her openness about her sexual past (she is a former stripper), and for her involvement with the “slutwalk”, and a few other things. We all know that when you’re looking for your soul mate, that you must date around before you’re settle down. And if you’re going to make mistakes it's important to learn from them, and own that shit! What I love about Amber Rose is how she owned up to her shit, and doesn’t care about what other people thought of her which I can respect. But she has caused an illusion that women can be sexually loose with men. As a woman, I get it we can get lonely. Sometimes our pillows, or a teddy bear or a sex toy isn't enough for us at night. So, we need a strong man’s body on top of us to get threw the night. But there will be a time where you must ask yourself, do I want a man just for tonight, or for the rest of my life. How bad do you need a man to please you, instead of waiting for a man that will make it his duty to please you in every way possible every night.

Women love to say that it’s not fair that we’re held at a different standard than men, but those are the same women who will judge you for your actions. If you look on all of Amber Rose social media accounts, its women who are “slut shaming” her. This past summer, I went to an event for women to speak about the feminist movements, but they spent the WHOLE-TIME bitching about their rights to dress like a hoe. Not one time did they bring up the fact that we make less than a man (and white women), or the fact that a woman will get turned down for higher up position because of her gender. No, they were worried about their rights to look like a hoe. That meeting is the reason why I look at the feminist movement as a joke. Now let’s be clear, the feminist movement were never made for a black woman in the first place. We were brought in as a ploy, but I will speak on that another time, it’s an illusion to think that you can have sex with multiple men and be looked at the same. If I don’t respect a man for sleeping with over 100 women, and not respecting himself as man, what makes you think anyone else will respect you for sleeping with over 100 men, and not respecting your body. I notice how people don’t think about their future anymore, everyone is “living in the now” as they would say. Not thinking about how this will affect them as they get older, and no one wants to be with a person who doesn’t think about their future. And whether women want to hear it or not, men talk more than women do. So, would you want to be reminded for a mistake you made a long time ago. And even if you claim that you don’t, you want to get married one day. And while you’re having fun now, you might have passed your soul-mate sharing your body with someone who didn’t deserve it.

As AmoreUnscripted, I can care less of what a man, or woman think of me. The only opinion I care about, is my own opinion. Yes, we live in a different time then our mothers. We have more freedom to do whatever we want, but why we’re choosing to use our freedom for a choice we will later wish we could take back. The choices we make are made in the actions to impress, another person. When we wear a tight dress, or a low-cut skirt all we care about the thoughts of others. As I come to learn no matter what I do, I won’t be happy unless I stop listening to the voices of people that can't even spell my name. Furthermore, that doesn’t give me the right to share my soul with man that I don’t see myself even talking to the next day. I realize how precious my spirit is, and before I share it again it will be with a man that deserves it. But what do I do know? I’m just here to dropping some knowledge, while I’m on my journey of completion.

When Hurt People Hurt: Nas and Kelis

You can’t fix what you didn’t break. Sometimes the demons we face, are not the person we’ve dated fault. We’ll never know the demons anyone truly face, until they decide if they want to take it out on us. We try to be there and show them something different but soon realize their demons are slowly killing us. As I come to learn a man is his mother image. A man is what his mother make him to be, he may carry out some of his father actions; but his character come from his mother. Like a woman is what her father tell her to be. Whether he speak it with his words or speak it with his actions (by not being in her life), a woman carry her father words with her everywhere she goes and in all of her relationships. That why sometimes when a man is reckless, if his mother understand his actions then no one else opinion of him even matter. Vice versa with a woman. We chose to play doctor but doesn’t stay around to fully cure that person injuries. We just add more cuts, to an already wounded soul…

My Thoughts on Love Is...

As I always say, when the love is real it not meant for anyone on the outside to understand. I always ask women “what would they do for love?” Some women answer, while some just look at me like I’m crazy. Everyone loves to claim they have a limitation on love. However, as one told me you only have limitation when you haven’t met your match. Now, before I could write this story I had to re-watch this series twice just to make sure I was understanding what I was watching. Therefore, after watching this show I got something to say and it won’t be pretty. My new addiction celebrating black love is Love Is”, which tells the origin story of a modern-day love, before social media came and destroyed well trying to destroy love for everyone. This show has become the topic of discussion more than this season of “Insecure” (I’m still waiting for that wow moment of this season). Love Is_ is set in '90s. And tells the story of two Black creatives who fall for each other quickly. Nuri works as…

What to Do When A Person Ghost You

We all knew this day was coming and now it time I write about it. This Sunday night, was the season finale of “insecure." Now, before I get to the point of the story I must share my thoughts of this whole season. I was looking for that spark this season like season one, and two, but I didn’t receive one until the end. Even the whole Daniel and Issa storyline that was a letdown. When I saw she brought back Lawrence I was hoping that finally they would work it out, but again Lawrence on that bitch ass shit. However, the relationship between Nathan and Issa was the talk on black twitter. While Issa thoughts she finally met a good guy who challenge her, Nathan proved that “the lighter the eyes, the bigger the lies.” While we have to wait until Next Year to see exactly where this relationship will go, Nathan pulled a move that was close to home for many people. It hurt like hell when a person leave you without any warning or reasons. It leave you asking yourself, “What did you do?” We…
